Film Nikdo mě nemá rád je o zničující síle předsudků a netoleranci i odvaze tomu čelit. Sára pracuje jako asistentka na velitelství armády v Praze. Je to atraktivní žena obklopená mladými muži, přesto bez partnera, což jí její autoritářská matka nezapomíná připomínat. Když potká galantního a půvabného Martina, konečně prožívá lásku, o které zatím jen snila. Sára odmítá přijmout jeho neochotu svěřit se jí a chce vědět, co mu brání být s ní. Přitom zjistí, že má Martin tajemství. Slíbí, že ho nikomu neprozradí, ale přesto tak v dobré víře učiní. A pak poznává, jak se společnost vypořádává s těmi, kdo nezapadají do patřičných škatulek.

Hlavní hrdinkou silného osobního příběhu je osamocená Sára, která se nečekaně zamiluje do tajemného muže. Oba se ale od svého okolí odlišují, každý svým způsobem do společnosti nezapadá a ani jeden nesplňuje její představy o mladé ženě nebo muži. Po celovečerním debutu, kterým bylo životopisné drama Já, Olga Hepnarová, přichází dvojice Petr Kazda a Tomáš Weinreb se svým druhým filmem.
