Sometimes the most dangerous place for a dad is a family vacation.

Bob Odenkirk returns as suburban husband, father and workaholic assassin Hutch
Mansell in the new chapter to Nobody, the hit 2021 bare-knuckle action-thriller that
opened at number one at the U.S. box office.

Four years after he inadvertently took on the Russian mob, Hutch remains $30 million in debt to the criminal organization and is working it off with an unending string of hits on international thugs.

Much as he likes the slam-bang action of his “job,” Hutch and his wife Becca
(International Emmy nominee Connie Nielsen) find themselves overworked and drifting apart. So, they decide to take their kids (Gage Munroe, Paisley Cadorath) on a short getaway to Wild Bill’s Majestic Midway and Waterpark, the one and only place where Hutch and his brother Harry (Grammy and Emmy nominee RZA) went on a vacation as kids.

With Hutch’s dad (Emmy winner Christopher Lloyd) in tow, the family arrives in the small tourist town of Plummerville (“Plummerville is Summerville!”), eager for some fun in the sun.
But when a minor encounter with some town bullies yanks the family into the crosshairs of a corrupt theme-park operator (John Ortiz; Fast and Furious franchise, Bumblebee) and his shady sheriff (Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Colin Hanks), Hutch finds himself the focus of the most unhinged, blood-thirsty crime boss he (or anyone) has ever encountered (Emmy winning and Oscar® nominated screen icon, Sharon Stone).

Nobody 2 is an 87North/Eighty Two Films/Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment
production, directed by Timo Tjahjanto (The Night Comes for Us, The Big 4). The
screenplay is by returning writer Derek Kolstad (John Wick, Die Hart) and by Aaron
Rabin (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan), from a story by Derek Kolstad, based on characters created by Derek Kolstad. This film’s returning producers are 87North founders Kelly McCormick (Bullet Train, The Fall Guy) and David Leitch (Bullet Train, The Fall Guy); Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment founder Marc Provissiero (No Hard Feelings, PEN15), Eighty Two Films founder Braden Aftergood (Hell or High Water, Samaritan); and Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad). The executive producer is David Hyman.

Storyline:
The film begins in darkness with an eerie mix-up of faces, as if it's someone's imagination or nightmare. The scene then shifts to Karoline, who is washing her hands and face, when her landlord arrives with some people to show the house. This is because Karoline hasn't paid rent in a long time. Karoline tries to persuade her landlord to give her some time, promising to clear all her debts, but he's fed up with her excuses.

Karoline tries to offer her landlord some money from her savings, but he refuses and brings in a woman and her daughter to view the house. As the woman is inspecting the house, Karoline warns her that there are a lot of big rats in the house that come out at night and make a mess. Upon hearing this, the woman's daughter becomes frightened and insists that they leave immediately. The woman slaps her daughter so hard and then pays the landlord an advance to secure the house.

The landlord tells Karoline that he'll find her another place to stay that she can afford.

Then Karoline boards a bus and heads to the tailor's workshop where she works. After finishing her job, she visits a house with a rent of 15 kroner per week. The room is in a terrible state, with water dripping from the ceiling into the room. Karoline tries to open the window, but it's stuck due to rust. Moreover, guests are not allowed here.

The next day, the manager takes Karoline to meet Head Jorgen because she had appealed for widow supplements. Karoline explains that her landlord evicted her from the apartment. Jorgen asks Karoline for her husband's death certificate, which she doesn't have because her husband, Peter, is a soldier who has been missing for a long time. And without the death certificate, Karoline's request can't be granted. However, seeing Karoline's desperate situation, Jorgen offers to help by asking for her husband's name and using his connections to try to track him down.

Karoline has moved into the same run-down room where rainwater is leaking from the ceiling, and she's placed a bucket underneath. While she's busy making crochet. She hears the sound of rain then gets up and tries to open the window again. After a few attempts, the window opens, and Karoline sits outside with her crochet.

Afterwards she's sitting on a bench in a park, where Jorgen has asked to meet her. Jorgen informs her that he couldn't find any information about her husband, neither among the living soldiers nor the fallen ones. Then, they start walking together. As they walk, Jorgen notices a chestnut vendor and takes Karoline there to enjoy roasted chestnuts. After offering Karoline some comfort, Jorgen leaves her there.

With the passage of time Karoline and Jorgen start dating. On the road, a boy is seen selling newspapers about the end of the war. Later, Jorgen addresses his employees, announcing the war's end and leading a prayer for the fallen soldiers. During this, Jorgen and Karoline exchange smiles. Jorgen declares that uniform production will cease, and they will return to manufacturing soft linen, his family's signature product. Everyone then engages in Christmas celebrations. During this, Jorgen gives his mistress an elegant Christmas gift, a fancy dress, which delights Karoline.

As everyone is leaving the factory, a man is standing outside, calling out to Karoline as she exits. Karoline glances back at him and then ignores him, walking away. The man calls out to her again, stopping her.
Karoline angrily turns around to face the man, who's wearing a mask on his mouth. She walks up to him, angrily removes the mask from his mouth, and throws it away. The man picks up the mask, puts it back on, and looks at Karoline.
