Today I have brought you a film that comes to you every once in a while and brings a sense of well-being. The name is “Tourist Family”. This is a comedy drama that came out in 2025. It was written and directed by a person named Abhishan Jeevin. This is Mann’s first film. It was produced by Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment.
The main characters in the story are Simran and the famous Shashikumar. Remember Simran? She has been a super actress since then. There are many more people in this with them.
Now, what is the story? After the economic crisis in our country, it shows how a Tamil family from Jaffna – that is, father (Das), mother (Vasanthi) and their two sons (Nitooshan, Mulli) – go to India in search of a better future. They come to Rameshwaram via Vallipuram with the help of Vasanthi's brother (Yogi Babu), Prakash.

As soon as they land in India, they are caught by a group of police. Although they somehow escape from the police, the real struggle for life begins there. This is because they are Sri Lankans who have migrated illegally. A different country, a different culture, the same language, but a different style. Wherever they go, the risk of being caught for talking is high.

Somehow, these people want to stay in a rented house and find a job to make ends meet. They are a really nice family. The little boy is the one who is doing the best in this. Will these people be able to hide the fact that they are Sri Lankans from everyone? Meanwhile, they are also living their lives in a situation where the police are searching for a group of people for a bomb blast.

මම අද ඔයාලට කාලෙකට පාරක් එන, හොඳ හිතට සැහැල්ලුවක් ගේන ෆිල්ම් එකක් තමයි අරගෙන ආවේ. “ටුවරිස්ට් ෆැමිලි” තමයි නම. මේක 2025 ආපු කොමඩි ඩ්‍රාමා එකක්. අභිෂාන් ජීවින්ත් කියලා කෙනෙක් තමයි මේක ලියලා ඩිරෙක්ට් කරලා තියෙන්නේ. මෑන්ගෙ පළවෙනි ෆිල්ම් එක මේ. මිලියන් ඩොලර් ස්ටූඩියෝස් එක්ක MRP එන්ටර්ටේන්මන්ට් තමයි ප්‍රොඩියුස් කරලා තියෙන්නේ.

කතාවේ ප්‍රධාන චරිත කරන්නේ අපි කවුරුත් දන්න ශශිකුමාර් එක්ක සිම්රන්. මතකනේ සිම්රන්ව? ඒ කාලේ ඉඳන්ම සුපිරි නිළියක්නේ. එයාලත් එක්ක තව ගොඩක් දෙනෙක් මේකෙ ඉන්නවා.

දැන් කතාව මොකක්ද කිව්වොත්, අපේ රටේ තිබ්බ ආර්ථික අවුලෙන් පස්සේ, යාපනේ දෙමළ පවුලක් – ඒ කියන්නේ තාත්තා (දාස්), අම්මා (වසන්ති) සහ එයාලගේ පුතාලා දෙන්නා (නිතූෂන්, මුල්ලි) – හොඳ අනාගතයක් හොයාගෙන ඉන්දියාවට යන හැටි තමයි පෙන්නන්නේ. එයාලා වල්ලිපුරම් හරහා රාමේෂ්වරම්වලට එන්නේ වසන්තිගේ අයියා (යෝගි බාබු), ප්‍රකාශ්ගේ උදව්වෙන්.

ඔන්න ඉතින් ඉන්දියාවට ගොඩ බැස්ස ගමන්ම පොලිස් කට්ටියක් අල්ලගන්නවා. කොහොම හරි පොලීසියෙන් ගැලවුනත් එතන ඉදල තමයි සැබෑම ජීවන අරගලය ඇරඹෙන්නෙ. ඒ මොකද කියනව නම් එයාලා නීති විරෝධීව සංක්‍රමණය වුනු ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයින් නිසා. වෙනත් රටක්, වෙනස් සංස්කෘතියක්, එකම භාෂාව වුනත් වෙනස්ම ශෛලියක්. කොහෙ ගියත් කට නිසා මාට්ටු වීමේ අවධානම ඉහලම පරිසරයක්.

කොහොම හරි නිවසක කුලියට නැවතිලා ජොබ් එකක් හොයන් ජීවිතෙ ගෙවන්න තමයි මේ අයට ඕනේ. ඇත්තටම ලස්සන පවුලක් මෙයාලා. පොඩි කොලුවා තමයි මේකෙ හොඳටම කරන්නේ. හැමෝගෙන්ම මෙයාල ලාංකිකයින් බව හංඟගෙන ඉන්න පුළුවන් වෙයිද මේ අයට? මේ අතර බෝම්බ පිපිරීමකටත් පොළීසියෙන් පිරිසක්ව හොය හොය ඉන්න තත්වෙක තමයි මෙයාලත් මෙහෙම ජීවිතෙ ගෙවන්නේ.

ඔයාල මේක බලලම ඉන්නකො.

ඉතින් , “ටුවරිස්ට් ෆැමිලි” කියන්නේ නිකම්ම හිනාවෙන කතාවක් විතරක් නෙවෙයි. පවුලක තියෙන බැඳීම, අනුන් වෙනුවෙන් කරන උදව්, මනුස්සකම වගේ දේවල් ලස්සනට පෙන්නන ෆිල්ම් එකක්. අපේ රටේ ප්‍රශ්නත් එක්ක සම්බන්ධ නිසා අපිටත් ගොඩක් දැනෙන කතාවක් මේක. බලන්න චාන්ස් එකක් ලැබුණොත් අනිවා බලන්න.
